Purrfect Kibble (Max 82)
Caddicts of the World, Unite!
It had been one of those unseasonably hot days that makes me want to dig a hole in the ground and disappear when Dooley discovered treasure in the pantry: three bags of original Franklin Cooper kibble. The factory had gone bust three years ago, so this could very well be the last of the legendary kibble maker’s delicious goodies. Unfortunately for us, we weren’t the only ones who were after the treat. Odelia wanted to dump it in the trash, ants wanted to steal it and a gang of drug dealers had designs on it for their own nefarious reasons. Along the way we were faced with murder, mayhem and even a car chase. But in spite of all this, we were steadfast in our goal of preserving the Franklin Cooper legacy.
Purrfect Watch (Max 83)
Burn baby! Burn!
A new craze hit the town of Hampton Cove hard. It was a smartwatch that promised to do all the things that other smartwatches couldn’t. Unfortunately what they did wasn’t what people actually wanted them to do. Add to that a sort of rash of exploding electric cars, a gang of pickpockets on the loose and the four of us had our work cut out for us again.
Purrfect Comics (Max 84)
This looks like a job for Max!
When the creator of the Kellys, the popular comic strip, was found murdered, it set in motion a chain of events that made me question the nature of divinity, beauty and perfection. Gran discovered that she was in actual fact a goddess, and enjoyed the adulation she received from her devotees. Marge discovered that reading can be harmful after it put her in a coma. And Dooley discovered he wasn’t Dooley but a cat named Smokey. Along the way I discovered that my success as a sleuth rubbed a member of my family the wrong way, and that I may be a lot of things, but perfect I definitely am not!
