Purrfect Spy (Max 88)

The world’s flyest fly is back!

When an actual prince was found murdered at the Star Hotel, we were called in to investigate. It was the start of a very challenging twenty-four hours, with a drive-by shooting following on the heels of the events at the hotel, our friend Harriet being poisoned, trouble brewing at the General Store and Gran launching a new business venture that would make her a billionaire. I had a hard time keeping my wits about me and figuring out what was going on. Fortunately for us, an old friend decided to pitch in: none other than Norm the spying fly.

Purrfect Heist (Max 89)

The Gray Panthers Ride Again

You know that when a shot rings out in the early morning, it can’t be good. And so when we arrived at the scene and found our neighbor Kurt Mayfield bleeding on the ground, it gave us quite a shock. At the same time, across town, a museum was being burgled by a gang of dedicated gangsters. Were the two events connected? It was up to us to find out. In the meantime we also had to deal with Gran having developed a habit of sleepwalking, a distressed Papillon dog, a dog whisperer with a secret agenda and a collection of Nazi art. In other words: business as usual!

Purrfect Spider (Max 90)

Kill The Cat!

It isn’t every day that your home is transformed into a movie set, so when it happened to us, we weren’t prepared, to say the least. Gone were all of our favorite spots and so we had to find sojourn elsewhere. To top it off, the four of us were cast in the movie, to be mangled and murdered by a monstrous ghoul. Good thing it wasn’t real! The rest of the family was also in the movie. Even Gran, who played the role of the virgin, and was pretty happy with her part.

In the meantime an office building had been bombed in the business district, and a body found that had been buried there for the past fifteen years. But if we thought we’d be allowed to run the investigation, we had another thing coming. FBI agents Smith & Jones quickly took over and we were all sidelined. But that wasn’t how Chase saw it, and so he and Odelia continued their inquiries into the mysterious death, only this time as reporters for the Gazette and butting heads with the feds. The investigation soon put us on the trail of a ruthless killer and a determined bomber.
